The Santa Monica Sailing Foundation reached outside the sailing world to provide financial support to the Marina del Rey Anglers youth program. This grant provides an opportunity for inner-city youths to experience fishing on a boat in the ocean with knowledgeable anglers, and to have a great experience learning a new skill. For many of them, this was their first opportunity to get on a boat.
